My sister has been sending me photos of us! I miss her.

Me & Emma on a beach in Malta, probably 1990.

Me & Emma on a beach in Gran Canaria. Xmas 2004. (I'm looking exceedingly concerned because I was in a bikini for the first time in ages, eep!)

Guh, each month I seem to be gaining on the 'worst period pain since being on the pill' & it's starting to be quite crap. I thought last month was bad, but this has had me lying on the floor before finally resorting to stuffing a hotwater bottle down my pants, which hasn't happened before bed (usually go to bed with one for a few nights to ease things for sleep) for a good few years.

On the upside though, yoga last night was really good. My apprehension was unfounded & the teacher was really good at making things a little easier for us beginners. I didn't much enjoy the fact the room had two mirror walls, so I could see myself in all these unattractive positions, or the fact that I almost fell on my arse doing the 'tree pose', but it was good. I was quite amazed at how spaced out I managed to make myself during the relaxation period, solely focusing on my breathing (& how blooming cold I was), which was nice. I think it concerned Amy a bit (she couldn't relax because she was afraid of letting rip!) but I'm pretty sure we'll go again next week. I'll probably keep going if she ends up flaking out, seeing as there's minimal chance for talking & everyone is rather focused on the task in hand, rather than chit-chatting (which is what I like!).

I got my results back from my massive Sleep & Dreaming essay from last semester. Got a 2:1 which I'm very pleased with, seeing as I was sure I'd done rubbishly. Did a bit of group work this afternoon & came home to tidy up my room, do some work & sit around with tea while nursing my belly.

Just had a nice chat with Andrew on the phone & hopefully he should be visiting in a couple of weeks. Hooray! The fact that I'd not seen him for so long had been really getting to my last week (probably seriously hormone related) & despite knowing that he would visit at some point it felt as though it was never going to come. He had also added to mine & Nikki's suspicions that the postman has been stealing our post. He sent a letter at the weekend, which still hasn't arrived. (If doesn't come tomorrow, we'll have to put that 'sign' on the door, Nikki!)

I'm currently in love with the 3" cd I got yesterday (Clark - Throttle Furniture). Not only is it cracking, but it's so tiny & sweet!

oh my God, cutest photos ever! :)

have you tried any painkillers for your periods baby? we need to talk about this. there is no need to suffer unnecessarily if something can take the pain away.

Hehehe, ta :)

Yeah, I've been taking ibruprofen which usually seems to help. I used to take mefenamic acid tablets as well, but they only seemed to work for a few months & then didn't seem to be as affective. I'm sure it'll feel better today, nicely dosed up & not having to be in uni until the afternoon :)
